If you’re looking for Access Bars training in London, this guide covers everything you need to know – what the class is really like, what you’ll walk away with, and how certification works. Whether you’re completely new to Access Bars or you’ve already experienced a session and want to learn it yourself, you’re in the right place.
Access Bars is a gentle, hands-on technique that involves lightly touching 32 specific points on the head. These points correspond to different areas of your life – money, joy, body, sexuality, creativity, awareness, peace, and more. When touched, they begin to release the electromagnetic charge of all the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and emotions you’ve accumulated in those areas throughout your lifetime.
Think of your brain as a computer hard drive that’s been collecting files for years. Some are outdated, corrupted, or simply taking up space. Access Bars helps clear that clutter – creating more space for new possibilities, better choices, and greater ease.
People who experience Access Bars regularly report changes in many areas:
Renowned neuroscientist Dr. Jeffrey Fannin conducted research on Access Bars using brain wave measurement. His findings showed that a single session created changes in the brain similar to those achieved by advanced meditators – people who have practiced for years. The difference? Access Bars creates these effects in just 60-90 minutes.
The study showed the “fight or flight” response in the nervous system became significantly quieter, and brain wave patterns shifted from busy beta waves to more relaxed theta waves. Physically, measurably, the mind changes.
8 hours of in-person training with a certified facilitator. No rushing, no pressure.
Comprehensive manual packed with tools, techniques, and processes from Access Consciousness. It’s not just about the Bars – it’s a complete toolkit for creating change in any area of your life.
Head chart showing all 32 Bar points and their hand positions. You’ll refer to this constantly when you first start practicing, and that’s completely normal.
Four complete sessions – you give twice and receive twice during class. That’s four hours of hands-on practice and personal sessions.
International practitioner certification qualifying you to run Bars on family and friends, offer professional sessions to clients, charge for your services, and join the global Access Bars community.
Unlimited post-class support. Every student can contact me anytime with questions – not for a week, not for a month. Anytime, for as long as they wish.
Access to the global community. Once certified, you’re part of a worldwide network of practitioners in over 170 countries – for session swaps, practice groups, and ongoing learning.
Access to additional marketing resources to help you start sharing and building your practice with confidence.
Access Bars training is a one-day, hands-on practitioner class. By the end of the day, you’re fully certified to practice – on yourself, your family, your friends, or professionally with clients. No prerequisites, no prior experience needed.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
Morning: Welcome & Theory Classes take place at a private location in South London (SW16). I provide snacks, coffee, and tea so you can settle in and relax before we begin. We start by getting to know each other – who you are, what brings you here, whether you’ve experienced Access Bars before. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. No pressure, no tension.
We then dive into the Access Bars manual. I walk you through the story of Access Consciousness, how Access Bars was created, and the 10 powerful verbal tools you’ll learn alongside the hands-on technique. These tools alone can be life-changing. Throughout the morning I share real-life examples, and we apply the tools to situations from your own life. It’s interactive, conversational, and tailored to what you actually need.
Lunch Break & Video Tutorial
We break for 30-60 minutes. I provide snacks, and you’re welcome to bring your own lunch – or there’s a local Tesco nearby if you’d like to grab something.
During lunch we watch a special instructional video (about 40 minutes) where Gary Douglas, founder, and Dr. Dain Heer, co-founder of Access Consciousness, demonstrate exactly how to run the Bars. You’ll see the hand positions, the flow of a session, and what to expect. This makes the afternoon practice so much easier.
Afternoon: Hands-On Practice
This is where the magic happens.
First session: I guide one student through running a full Bars session while another receives. I show each finger position, explaining what it’s called and how long to hold each point. You watch, learn, and follow along.
Second session: You swap. The person who received now gives. I’m still there supervising, correcting placements if needed, answering questions. By the second round things start to feel more natural.
Third and fourth sessions: You swap again, running the Bars more independently. I’m still available, but most students at this point are confident and comfortable. And here’s something worth knowing: every time you run someone else’s Bars, you receive benefits too. The stored information – thoughts, feelings, limiting beliefs – that your mind holds can match what the person you’re working with carries. So as their “files” clear, yours do too. The release goes both ways.
By the end of the day, you’ve:
Closing & Certification
Before you leave, we talk about what’s next – how to continue practicing, where to find other practitioners for swaps, and what other Access Consciousness classes you can explore. You’ll also receive access to additional marketing resources to help you get started. And of course, you receive your Access Bars Practitioner Certificate. You’re now certified to practice Access Bars anywhere in the world.
The energy in the room at the end of the day is always noticeably different than when we started. People arrive curious, maybe a little uncertain. They leave relaxed, lighter, often glowing. Witnessing that transformation in eight hours is one of my favourite parts of teaching.

I’ve seen shifts in my life since then; anxiety that I’ve experienced towards flying for 4 years disappeared and I’ve got more energy and feel more powerful. Elena is a firm, warm and patient teacher with interesting insight to situations that come up. Really excited about sharing Bars with others! Thank you Elena!”

Many people find it helpful to experience Access Bars before committing to the training. If you’d like to feel what it’s actually like before you decide, you’re welcome to book a one-to-one session with me first.
I’d been exploring Access Consciousness verbal tools for months when I first heard about Access Bars. Instead of booking a session, I went straight for the class. Why? Because in one day I’d receive two sessions AND learn how to run them myself. It was a no-brainer.
That decision changed everything.
The quiet in my mind after my first session was unlike anything I’d experienced. All the mental noise – the constant thinking, the anxiety, the mental chatter – just stopped. Not in a concerning way. In the most peaceful way possible. Like someone had finally pressed the delete button on all the unnecessary files cluttering my brain.
I tried to think about the things that had been bothering me. I couldn’t. Not because I was suppressing them, but because they simply didn’t matter anymore.
Two years of regular practice later – running sessions weekly, experiencing profound shifts in my own life – I knew I wanted to teach. I’ll share more about why at the end of this post.
Access Bars training is for anyone who wants to create change in their life and wants a practical tool to do it.
Wellness professionals – therapists, life coaches, Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, yoga teachers. Access Bars is a powerful addition to any practice. I was a Theta Healing practitioner and life coach before I learned Access Bars, and I needed something that worked with the body, not just the subconscious mind. Access Bars filled that gap beautifully.
People who can’t afford regular sessions – learning the technique means you can swap sessions with other practitioners for free. I practiced weekly through swaps for two years, so all my sessions were essentially free while I still got the full benefits.
Caregivers and family members – if you care for someone who experiences stress or overwhelm, Access Bars gives you a tool to actually help rather than feel helpless.
Those seeking personal change – you don’t need to be a professional practitioner. Many people learn Access Bars purely for themselves and integrate it into daily life simply because it makes life easier.
Complete beginners – no prior experience with energy work or healing needed. Many successful Access Bars practitioners are accountants, lawyers, teachers – people who simply wanted a tool to feel better and manage stress.
Do I need any experience or qualifications? No. If you can gently touch someone’s head, you can do Access Bars. I’ve trained complete beginners and experienced healers. Everyone learns successfully in one day.
What if I can’t remember all 32 points? You don’t need to memorize them. You’ll have a head chart. Most students refer to it constantly for their first 20-30 sessions – that’s completely normal. The only way to get better is to practice and not judge yourself while doing it.
Can I do Access Bars wrong? Can I harm someone? No. The technique is gentle, non-invasive, and safe. The worst that can happen is someone feels as relaxed as after a great massage. Those are pretty good odds.
What if I’m not spiritual or “into” energy work? That’s fine. You don’t need to be. Many Access Bars practitioners have corporate jobs and use it purely as a stress-management technique. You can approach it however you like.
How long until I can start seeing clients? Immediately. Once you receive your certificate at the end of the day, you’re qualified to offer paid sessions. Many students start with friends and family first to build confidence, but you’re certified from day one.
What if I get emotional during class? Access Bars can release stored emotions, and that’s welcomed. The environment is safe, supportive, and judgment-free. If someone needs extra support before we begin, that flexibility is always there.
Do I have to believe in it for it to work? No. Even sceptical people often experience deep relaxation and mental clarity. You don’t have to believe in gravity for it to work – Access Bars is similar. Approaching it with curiosity rather than active resistance certainly helps, but belief isn’t required.
If you still have questions, you’re welcome to get in touch. You can contact me here.
Small, personalized classes – my classes accommodate 2-6 students. If only one person books, I still run the class (we have a model join us for practice). You get highly personalized attention throughout the day.
Quality-focused teaching – I pay close attention to finger placement because it matters to me that you leave feeling confident and capable, not just certified.
I practice what I teach – I’ve been receiving sessions regularly since I started and have done hundreds myself. When I’m stressed, overwhelmed, or irritable, I book a session. I walk my talk. And I have many personal stories of what Bars has created in my own life – stories I’ll be sharing with you throughout the day.
Bilingual English and Russian classes – I offer classes in both English and Russian on different days depending on the group. For Russian speakers, learning in your native language makes everything more comfortable. I also understand Ukrainian, so if you prefer to speak Ukrainian during the class, that’s absolutely fine.
Cozy home environment – classes are held in my living room in South London. It’s homey, relaxed, and there’s no rush to leave if we need a bit more time. Many people prefer this intimate setting over a commercial studio.
Unlimited ongoing support – this doesn’t end when the class does. You can contact me anytime after – weeks, months, or even years later – with questions about your practice, tricky finger placements, or anything else that comes up. You’re not on your own once you leave.
Location: My private residence in South London, SW16 (near Norbury Station).

When I decided to teach, it was because of the ripple effect.
If I work one-on-one with a client, I change one person’s life. Beautiful and important. But when I teach someone Access Bars, that person goes on to practice with dozens – maybe hundreds – of people. Each of those people experiences more ease, less stress, more clarity. And when they go home less irritated, less reactive, more present, they change those relationships too.
Imagine a stressed parent who’s constantly snapping at their kids. After regular Access Bars sessions, that parent is calmer. The kids experience a different parent. The family dynamic shifts. Now multiply that by every person that practitioner works with.
One person at a time, one practitioner at a time, we create a cascade of ease in the world. That’s the bigger vision. That’s why I do this work.
I want to see more happy people. More people who are conscious about themselves and their impact on others. More people who take responsibility for their own wellbeing without taking on everyone else’s burdens.
Training is held in South London (SW16) with classes running regularly throughout the year – available in English and Russian.
