You know that feeling when your mind won’t stop, even when you desperately want it to? When you’re lying in bed at 2 AM with work deadlines, family responsibilities, and endless to-do lists playing on repeat in your head? When even a weekend doesn’t feel like enough to truly rest?

If you’re nodding along, you’re not alone. And there’s a reason why traditional stress relief methods sometimes fall short.

Why Your Mind Can't Just "Switch Off"

Woman experiencing mental overload and stress, representing how Access Bars sessions support stress relief and nervous system reset in London.

Here’s what most people don’t realise about stress: it’s not just a mental experience; it’s something the nervous system learns and stores over time.

Every worry you’ve had, every stressful situation you’ve pushed through, every moment you’ve told yourself “I’ll deal with this later” – your brain has been keeping track. These experiences can create habitual stress patterns that keep firing, even when you consciously want to relax.

Think of it like having 20 browser tabs open on your computer. Even when you’re not actively looking at them, they’re draining your battery, slowing everything down, making it harder to focus on what matters now.

This is where Access Bars therapy comes in – and why it’s becoming one of the most sought-after stress-relief approaches in London.

What Is Access Bars and How Does It Work?

Access Bars is a gentle, hands-on technique that involves lightly touching 32 specific points on the head. These points are associated with different areas of life – such as joy, money, relationships, aging, control, creativity, and more.

When these points are gently touched during an Access Bars session, many people experience a sense of mental and emotional release. It’s often described as clearing mental clutter – like closing those open tabs and creating space for the mind to rest.

But here’s the part that surprised even me when I first experienced it: you don’t have to talk about your problems. You don’t have to relive difficult memories or analyse why you’re stressed. The session works without verbal processing, which can be deeply relieving when you’re already overwhelmed.

What Happens During an Access Bars Session

When I first had an Access Bars session years ago, I went out of curiosity. I didn’t fully understand what it would do – I just knew I was tired of feeling mentally overloaded.

About 30 minutes after the session ended, I realised something unexpected: my mind felt unusually quiet. Not in a bad way. There was a spaciousness in my head. For the first time in years, the constant noise – the planning, the worrying – had softened.

I noticed that thoughts didn’t rush in automatically. That sense of mental pause was new to me, and it gave my system a level of rest I didn’t know was possible.

One of my clients once forgot the name of the practice and called it “that session that does empty head.” And honestly, that description still makes me smile, but it captures the experience perfectly.

Real Results: What Clients Notice After Access Bars

When professionals come to me for stress-relief sessions in London, they’re often sceptical at first. Many have tried meditation apps, therapy, yoga, or time-management courses – helpful tools, yet something still feels stuck.

Here’s what clients commonly notice after their first Access Bars session:
• A sense of mental clarity they haven’t felt in a long time
• Falling asleep more easily and sleeping more deeply
• Feeling less reactive to everyday stressors
• More available energy during the day
• Easier decision-making, with less overthinking

For many clients, these changes continue unfolding over the following weeks, particularly when sessions are repeated.

Why This Approach Can Feel Different

People often ask how a gentle, non-verbal session can create such noticeable shifts.

I often explain it like restarting an overloaded computer. When too many background processes are running, everything slows down. A reset doesn’t erase the system – it simply allows it to function more smoothly again.

Your nervous system works in a similar way. When it’s been operating in long-term stress mode, it may need support to return to a calmer baseline.

Why Stressed Professionals Are Choosing Access Bars

In London, where the pace is intense and expectations are high, many professionals are drawn to Access Bars because it doesn’t require analysing every experience verbally.

You don’t need to explain your entire history. You don’t need to have the energy to talk. You simply lie down, receive the session, and allow your system to settle.

Many of my clients are capable, high-functioning people. They understand stress intellectually and know what they “should” do to manage it. But understanding isn’t the same as experiencing relief.

That’s why I often recommend starting with three sessions.

Why a 3-Session Package Supports Deeper Change

One session can bring noticeable relief – better sleep, mental quiet, a sense of ease.

With additional sessions, the nervous system has more opportunity to stabilise these changes. Clients often notice that they respond differently to stress, make clearer choices, and feel more grounded in daily life.

The space between sessions matters too. As the mind feels clearer, people naturally begin setting better boundaries and recognising what truly needs their energy.

What to Expect in Your First Access Bars Session

People often ask how a gentle, non-verbal session can create such noticeable shifts.

I often explain it like restarting an overloaded computer. When too many background processes are running, everything slows down. A reset doesn’t erase the system – it simply allows it to function more smoothly again.

Your nervous system works in a similar way. When it’s been operating in long-term stress mode, it may need support to return to a calmer baseline.

Access Bars Compared to Other Stress-Relief Approaches

Unlike meditation, you don’t need to practise daily.
Unlike talk-based therapy, you don’t need to process verbally.
Unlike medication, it’s non-invasive and has no chemical side effects.
Unlike massage, it focuses on mental and emotional overload rather than muscular tension.

Many clients combine Access Bars with other therapies – often finding that everything works better once the mental noise quiets.

Is Access Bars Right for You?

Access Bars may be supportive if you:

• Feel mentally overloaded most of the time
• Struggle to switch off
• Have tried other approaches with limited results
• Want support without intensive talking
• Feel your nervous system needs regulation, not more strategies
• Are looking for a session that feels deeply restful and supportive for your system

It’s a gentle, non-invasive approach suitable for many people.

Starting Your Journey to Real Relief

From my experience working with clients, one session shows what’s possible. A series of sessions helps create lasting change.

If you’re reading this and thinking “I need this”, that’s often a sign your system is asking for support.

I offer 3-session packages for stress relief because I’ve seen, both personally and professionally, how effective this structure can be.

You deserve to feel clear-headed, calm, and like yourself again – not someday when work slows down or life gets easier, but now, in the midst of your real, busy, demanding life.

How Do Access Bars Work? https://elenalarina.co.uk/how-do-access-bars-work/ Mon, 05 May 2025 21:04:36 +0000 https://elenalarina.co.uk/?p=10501

How Do Access Bars Work?

Before We Get Into How Access Bars Work, We Need to Talk About Brain Science First

Your brain is like a busy city — always active, always sending signals, even when you sleep. Every time you think, feel something, or react to life around you, your brain cells (called neurons) send tiny electrical messages to each other. This is how your brain “talks” — to itself and to the rest of your body.

These messages create tiny electromagnetic fields, and scientists can actually measure them using tools like EEG (electroencephalography) and MEG (magnetoencephalography).

Now, Here’s Where It Gets Really Interesting…

Your Brain Learns What You Repeat

When you go through something stressful — like fear, shame, or self-doubt — your brain remembers. And if those emotions happen a lot, your brain starts creating shortcuts to those feelings. This process is called neuroplasticity, which means your brain is always rewiring itself based on what you experience and think about most often.

Think of it like this: If you keep walking the same path in a field, the grass flattens. Your brain works the same way with thoughts and feelings. If you keep thinking “I’m not good enough,” your brain makes it easier and faster to think that again next time.

But it doesn’t end in your head.

Your Body Feels It Too

These emotional patterns affect your body as well.

Your shoulders might tense. Your heart might race. Your breathing might change. These reactions are automatic — controlled by your autonomic nervous system, the part of you that handles stress, safety, and relaxation.

Over time, your body gets used to this “stress mode” — and it stays in that mode even when the stressful moment has passed. It’s like your brain and body stay on high alert, even when there’s no reason to.

And that’s when we start to feel stuck. Overwhelmed. Anxious. Heavy.

In Access Bars, we call it “energetic charge”.

How Can Access Bars Help?

An Access Bars session helps your brain and body let go of that “energetic charge” built up from stress, limiting beliefs, traumas, and emotional patterns.

During a session, a practitioner lightly touches 32 specific points on your head — these points are connected to different areas of your life, like control, money, creativity, joy, sadness, healing, and more. These spots are called “Bars.”

When these Bars are touched… the electrical activity in your brain begins to calm down. It shifts out of overdrive into a more balanced, relaxed state.

So… How Do Access Bars Work?

Here’s a Simple Way to Understand It:

Your brain is like a computer, running tons of programs in the background: worry, fear, self-doubt, old memories, traumas, habits, and reactions.

Access Bars is like pressing a reset button on the hard drive.

It doesn’t delete who you are — it just clears the “junk files” that slow you down.

Scientific studies have shown that after an Access Bars session, the brain shifts from busy, stressed patterns into a state of calm and clarity.

That’s why most people feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, and “lighter” — even after just one session.

What Happens After a Session?

Effects of the Access Bars don’t stop with the session or straight after.

People often notice over time that things around them start to change — new possibilities start to appear in different areas of their life.

Everyone’s experience is different — but here are some things clients often tell me after Access Bars:

“I feel calmer and more in control.”

“I’m not triggered by things that used to upset me.”

“My sleep is better, and my mind is quieter.”

“I’ve stopped stressing over little things.”

“I feel more focused and confident.”

Some even notice improvements in health, relationships, money, and business — because when your mind is clearer, your whole life can start to shift.

One client texted me after her first session:

“I notice that I’m not feeling angry towards my husband for not doing the ‘right’ thing. For example tonight, he didn’t follow the bedtime routine for kids and therefore it took my son until past 9pm to fall asleep and my daughter is still awake. Until recently I would get very frustrated and angry with him which of course I had to hide to avoid a big fight. Doing so I was hurting myself more than him and also it wasn’t changing the situation. Therefore the anger was useless but I felt that way and I couldn’t control nor stop it. Tonight I notice that I feel calm. I’m not happy with the situation but I’m just dealing with it as a matter of fact. I find myself actually searching for that familiar negative emotion and I can’t find it. It’s so funny to observe that something inside of me is searching for it and finds it strange that it isn’t there. I feel I’m reprogramming myself. New neurons are being formed. Such a relief not to feel that anger.”

Can Access Bars Help Me?

Yes — if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or tired of overthinking everything… Access Bars may be exactly what you need.

It’s not magic (even though I’ve heard so many stories that could only be explained by magic).

It’s not about fixing you.

It’s about giving your brain and body the space to relax, reset, and open up to new possibilities.

You don’t need to believe in anything. Just try it yourself.

Because sometimes the change you’re looking for doesn’t come from thinking harder — it comes from letting go of what’s in the way.

ThetaHealing Session – Behind the Scenes https://elenalarina.co.uk/thetahealing-session-behind-the-scenes/ Wed, 02 Apr 2025 14:42:14 +0000 https://elenalarina.co.uk/?p=10434

ThetaHealing Session – Behind the Scenes

What Do We Work on During a ThetaHealing Session?

As a ThetaHealing practitioner, I help clients uncover and shift the deep-rooted patterns that shape their lives. When someone comes to me for a ThetaHealing session with any request, we most often work with their:

  • Beliefs
  • Fears
  • Hidden benefits

1. Beliefs

Beliefs are what we consciously or unconsciously hold as true. They are shaped by our own experiences or the experiences of our ancestors. It is our beliefs that create our reality, not the other way around.

Example: If one person believes, “Work is joy,” while another believes, “Work is hard labor,” their experience and attitude toward work will be completely different. If one woman believes, “All men are cheaters”, while another believes, “I deserve mutual love,” their relationships with men will be fundamentally different. And if both are searching for a partner, they will attract men who align with their beliefs. Our life always reflects our beliefs. During a ThetaHealing session, we identify and transform limiting beliefs—allowing you to create a new reality aligned with your desires. 2. Fears Fears can be connected to what is currently happening in your life or can arise when you move toward something new and unknown. Surprisingly, people often fear exactly what they truly desire. And if fears are linked to something we deeply want, it is nearly impossible to recognize them on our own. Example: A person wants to earn more money. During a ThetaHealing session, using the “digging” technique, we uncover their deep-rooted fears:
  • “If I have a lot of money, I might lose control and make bad choices” → fear of losing family.
  • “Other people might take my money” → fear of loss, leading to self-sabotage.
  • “My friends will remain at the same level” → fear of losing close relationships.
These unconscious fears manifest in real life as self-sabotage. The person struggles to earn more because something always gets in the way:
  • Unexpected circumstances
  • Falling ill at the worst possible time
  • Sudden urgent expenses
Even if they do earn more, the money quickly disappears:
  • The car breaks down
  • An unexpected large expense arises
  • They spend everything on entertainment
But when fears are released through ThetaHealing, achieving what you want becomes easier. 3. Hidden Benefits Every undesirable situation holds hidden benefits. These are usually unconscious, which means we don’t recognize them. How can you tell if you have a hidden benefits? If you’ve been trying to change something for four months or more with no results, there’s likely a hidden benefit keeping you stuck. When I ask clients, “What’s the benefit of staying in this situation?” 95% of them respond, “There is none!” But through deep questioning and ThetaHealing techniques, we uncover these benefits. I often see them immediately, but the key is for the client to recognize them—only then can they can be worked through and changed. A classic example – illness:
  • A person gets sick → their benefits can  be  to rest, receive care, and attention.
  • They might finally do something they’ve wanted but couldn’t because they were always working or busy with other things.
Some people don’t know how to allow themselves to rest. Often, they unconsciously create illness as a way to give themselves permission to take a break. As a ThetaHealing practitioner, I’ve worked with many clients who were stuck in life due to hidden fears, limiting beliefs, or unconscious benefits. Over five years of practice, I’ve seen that every case is unique. Even when clients come with similar issues, the work with each person can be completely different. If there’s an area in your life where things feel stuck and you’re not seeing the results you want, it’s possible that fears, limited beliefs, or hidden benefits are holding you back. If you want to achieve your goals more easily, ThetaHealing is a powerful technique that can help you. You can find more information aboutThetaHealing Click here

Access Bars Practitioner – My Journey https://elenalarina.co.uk/access-bars-practitioner-my-journey/ Fri, 21 Mar 2025 19:18:24 +0000 https://elenalarina.co.uk/?p=10319

Access Bars Practitioner – My Journey

Becoming an Access Bars Practitioner has been a transformative experience for me.

Access Bars is an amazing method that helps shift your inner state very quickly.

Many people underestimate the importance of their inner state. But in reality, it’s the first step to changing anything in life.

When I first heard about Access Bars session, I had no idea what it was.

At that time, I already had two years of experience working with clients.

At some point, I noticed that during deep inner work, people needed physical support to help their bodies catch up withthe subconscious changes happening after sessions.

So, I started looking for something that could do just that.

That’s how I found Access Bars and decided to train as an Access Bars Practitioner.

All I knew about this method was that it helps release limiting beliefs and works directly with the body.

“Perfect!” I thought and signed up for the Access Bars Practitioner Class.

I received my first Access Bars session right during the training. Actually, I had two sessions back to back! During the practical part of the class, we both gave and received two sessions.

The sessions themselves were deeply relaxing.
Afterward, I felt calm, light, and unexpectedly energized. Honestly, I didn’t even connect it to the sessions at first.

“I probably just had a good rest while lying on the massage table for two hours,” I thought.

I never imagined that this practice could bring such a powerful energy shift!

It felt like waking up fully rested, without an alarm clock, on a weekend—with no plans and nowhere to rush.

Calmness, fullness, and something else… was it joy? Happiness?
It’s hard to put into words.

But the most incredible thing happened an hour after the class ended.

There was silence and peace in my mind… No, not like that.

IT WAS PURE SILENCE AND PEACE!

I had never experienced anything like it before.

I tried to think about what I needed to do the next day… but I couldn’t!

At that moment, I realised—my mind had cleared of all the mental clutter, and it simply refused to take any more in.

Over the years, I’ve done hundreds of different meditations, but I had never felt such deep calm, silence, and energetic expansion as I did after an Access Bars session.

That was my personal experience.

 Everyone’s will be different.

But many clients have told me they went through a similar experience after Access Bars session.

Would you like to discover what Access Bars can create for you? Book a session and experience it for yourself!

Or, if you feel drawn to learning this method, I’d love to welcome you to an Access Bars Practitioner Class
